My Dad, Amel (pictured on the right) would travel each year to Salem, Missouri for Remberance Day. This was a time that remaining members of the Simmons' Family would gather to reunite and also to visit the Family gravesites to pay their respects.
It looks as tho the family members in this photo had a meal at the Old English Fish & Chips in Salem. This photo was taken in 1981 or prior because Clark passed away in 1981. Aunt Mary lived on S. Jackson Street at this time. The man on the left may have very well been Aunt Mary's son, who I knew as Buster.

The person on the left is certainly Buster Simmons (Howard), my father. Remember your Aunt Mary's fried chicken that she brought to Memorial Day at Jadwin Cemetery? I was there a few times in the late 1960s.
