Alaska of the Northern Lights...1976

This self-portrait pictures my Alaskan Malamute, Alaska with me. This photo was probably taken on the bluffs above the Meremec River at Castlewood state park. You can see the alertness and curiosity of Alaska as he hears the camera clicks. He was a very bright dog and quite protective of me and he was always at my side.
